Training standards are kept high and the
stroke correction is amazing. The staff at ABC Swimming

It is a great feeling to know that you can
come here and be worked hard in a great atmosphere. Stroke

after every session!!!

ABC swimming achieves what no other
swimming association can; it finds the balance between
training and living. The environment provided ensures
maximum training capabilities but also goes above and
beyond and makes training enjoyable. The coaching-staff
is dedicated and very experienced, and the relationship
held between both swimmers and coaches is one of not only
profound respect, but also the common goals in which both
strive for, to achieve. At the forefront of this
monumental movement is renowned coach Justin Rothwell.
Formally a Commonwealth games coach he provides the
experience, skills and advice to help swimmers achieve
excellence. But not only does he play the role of a
coach, but a mentor.
In my own experience training within this
organisation has helped with not only swimming, but life
in general. Swimming is a very demanding sport and in
turn requires discipline, and consequently this has aided
me in all facets of life. However swimming is not the
main objective, “Family first” is the attitude which is
adopted and practised. Time off during exam periods among
other things is readily available as long as
communication is upheld. For al these reasons ABC
swimming excel’s in providing quality training and an
ideal environment.
